Upside Down Thing of the Day: The Sky Planter relies on a “ground breaking internal reservoir system” to allow you to grow your plants the way they do on Bizarro Superman’s home planet of Htrae (I imagine).
Also: Ceiling plant is watching you sow your seeds.

I am madly in love with this tidy herb garden made from a shoe organizer - perfect for city dwellers like myself. Imagine growing all sorts of delicious herbs even on the smallest of urban balconies! Perfection.

  3. These look absolutely yummy, I’m just hoping that we actually get a summer at some point here in England so that I can try them out, because so far it’s been a complete wash out.

 Homemade Blueberry Yogurt Pops
I’m always looking for ways to cool off on the cheap and this is one of them. Delicious, not toooo bad for you and so easy to make. It literally takes under 5 minutes.

Ingredients:
1 pint fresh organic blueberries (or fruit/fruits of your choice)1 cup vanilla yogurt, low fat1 cup milk (you can sub 1/2 soy, 1/2 whole if you want but you do need some real milk here, I think)sugar or honey or agave or maple syrup, to taste
Directions:
Blend the blueberries, yogurt, milk, and sugar until smooth (you can layer if desired by doing a yogurt/sugar layer then yogurt/milk/berry/sugar layer). Pour the mixture into eight 5-ounce paper cups (or a popsicle tray/mould which you can get at Ikea for like $2 and is what I used above). Place foil over the top of each cup. Pierce the center of the foil and insert a wooden stick (you can get these at the drug store or most grocery stores) as the handle. Freeze for about 6 hours. You may need to dip the mould or cups in warm water for a minute to loosen them prior to serving.
